Lead Hazard Reduction Program

 

BURA and the City of Buffalo Office of Strategic Planning offers a Lead Hazard Reduction Program. Through this program homeowners can get help with lead remediation.

 

The program focuses on neighborhoods in Census tracts 61, 171, 37, and 38. Those areas are the city’s upper west side neighborhood and the Schiller Park neighborhood.

Steady Work for Contractors!

The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency (BURA) is looking for contractors to help remediate lead inside homes located in high-lead risk neighborhoods in the City of Buffalo.

 

High-lead risk neighborhoods include the upper west side and the Schiller Park areas – zip codes 14213, 14211 and 14215.

 

Contractors will be asked to replace windows, doors, paint and make lead-safe improvements to the homes. For more information contact eprodriguez@city-buffalo.com
